Happy new year to our wonderful subscribers!

With the sounds of an Australian summer echoing in our ears — cicadas, cockatoos, kookaburras, the smell of sunscreen, the gentle lull of water lapping and the whirring of fans — we thought it would be fun to have a quintessentially summer newsletter Q&A.

Deb Bibby, the founding, former editor-in-chief of Real Living magazine and now interior designer lives in a quintessential Australian summer place: a boatshed on Pittwater, on the northern beaches of Sydney. Who better to ask about reading and eating and how she is doing both this summer by the water?! Thanks again, Deb, for answering our questions and sharing your corner of summer with us all.

Sophie and I hope you enjoy this insight into the boatshed lifestyle and look forward to returning with a summer-themed podcast episode in the coming weeks! In the meantime, here’s a link to last summer’s episode in case you missed it.
